This gathering is for parents raising children, and meets on the last Sunday of each month for fellowship and parent equipping. Keep an eye on the weekly newsletter for times and locations!
Young Adults Circle
We define young adults at Ren as anyone under 40. The regular gathering happens most Sundays at 6:30pm in the sanctuary. It's a time of discussion and worship. The young adults also do a number of other things throughout the month such as house parties, worship nights, outings and so on. Contact us if you'd like to be on their email list to hear about happenings.
Together conference
One of the most exciting things of the year is happening Fri-Sat October 21-22. Dozens of Rhode Island churches over the past year have been planning a special gathering of churches across the region specifically to fuel a movement of prayer and to equip Christians in the effort to advance the Gospel. I have had the privilege of being part of the planning team.

Neighborhood Outreach: Hope Fest
This Sunday we will again be doing what we call Hope Fest for the good of the neighborhood. We are partnering with our friends at the Salvation Army, Christian Hill and His Providence Church to provide a cookout, music and stories of redemption. The primary purpose is to bring hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Probably our most impactful outreach last summer was the Hope Fest we did in our parking lot. About 500 people, mostly from the neighborhoods, came and heard the Gospel of Jesus and stories of hope and transformation. We prayed for people and got to know our neighbors. We fed a lot of people as well.

Read MoreChristianity 101
For those who are not yet Christians, are new Christians, or returning back to the Lord I would strongly recommend the Christianity 101 class. This happens on Sunday mornings from 9-9:40am in the prayer room. The format is such that you can just bring whatever questions you might have to the table and I will do my best to answer them. The conversations are always so interesting and helpful to all of us. I look forward to this time each week!
Dominican Republic
One of our longtime Ren members, Kim Hewson, will be traveling to the Dominican Republic later this month for an educational tour and to visit a dear friend and family in the northern region of the D.R. in a small, impoverished community near Cabarete. This friend lives and works among the people as their pastor with his wife, and Kim has gotten to know some of the neighbors and their children.

It is clear from Scripture that God’s dreams for us are beyond what we could imagine in terms of fullness and abundant life. Even the casual reading of Scripture reveals countless promises of spiritual power. As a church we are hungry for the greater things God has in mind for us. I am convinced that there is an anointing available 100 times greater, maybe 1000 times greater, than what we presently experience.
