God spreads his message through His Church.  The Church is here on this earth for a purpose, for a reason.  God invites us to be his ambassadors, his instruments in spreading the gospel of Jesus.  God uses our lives, our words, our actions to spread the good news, we are here on this earth to make his goodness, his love, and his salvation known to those around us.

Easton Dickson

One of the Ren Elders, Easton Dickson reminds us that when we go to spread the message of Jesus, we go in his footsteps, we go in the way of Jesus.  It is not optional for us, we need to follow Jesus' example.  Through the story of Jesus with the Samaritan woman, we are reminded that Jesus viewed people as people, having worth in the sight of God and everyone in need of hearing the good news of Jesus.

This message comes out of Acts chapter 2 showing us the portrait of Christian community of the early church.  From them we see the importance of the church in being an example, a witness to the power and grace of Jesus.  The reality is that in our present time there are obstacles to the church being a witness.  Pastor Scott examines these things and portrays for us the vision and hope of what community would be like at Renaissance Church.

Christians have this unique role to inspire, to move people to pursue Jesus.  Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are Jesus' ambassadors here in the world.  Pastor Scott reminds us to walk in wisdom as we communicate the gospel to those around us, to be gracious, to be respectful, to be reconcilers.   We should not be overbearing or condemning but filled with joy,, allowing the beauty of what Christ has done in us to shine through.
