This Sunday we will be looking at the wonderful story of Ruth that took place back in the days of the judges. Ruth was actually the great grandmother of King David. Her mentor and mother in law, Naomi, is who I feel stirred to talk about in my message. She was a woman who believed in God but suffered much. She lost her husband and even her two sons all relatively young. Because of her pain and poverty she sinks into despair and negativity. She feels that God may show favor to others but for whatever reason is against her. This message is for those who feel far from God and have deep down become disillusioned, sour and indifferent. I believe God wants to declare His unfailing unswerving love and devotion to us in the midst of our present pain. Invite someone you know who may need to hear this important message.
