In the last few years we have been absolutely bursting with families with small children. I think we have about 70 children and several women are pregnant right now. Very exciting. The next gathering for families will be on the Fourth of July from noon - 3 pm. We know that some families will no doubt be away but we thought it would be nice to gather those who aren't traveling. The gathering will be at Conimicut Beach in Warwick which is actually one of my favorite spots. When you come into the park you'll see a playground just to the right. We will plan on sort of taking over the playground area. There is a lot of open space so if you have portable lawn games bring them. The beach water is very shallow and perfect for little kids so let them bring swimwear. For food we decided to let each family bring their own food to keep it simple. There's no grilling by the way so just bring sandwiches and salads. Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on. And pray for beautiful weather!
