One of the Ren Elders, Easton Dickson, reminds us that when we go to spread the message of Jesus, we go in his footsteps, we go in the way of Jesus. It is not optional for us, we need to follow Jesus' example. Through the story of Jesus with the Samaritan woman, we are reminded that Jesus viewed people as people, having worth in the sight of God and everyone in need of hearing the good news of Jesus.
