Philippians: To Live is Christ

In this message from Philippians 1:12–30, Pastor Scott reminds us that God often uses hardship and opposition to move His purposes forward. From prison, Paul saw his suffering not as a setback but as a platform for the gospel—and his joy remained unshaken. Even when others preached Christ with mixed motives, he celebrated that the message was still spreading. “To live is Christ, and to die is gain” wasn’t just Paul’s perspective; it was his way of life. We’re called to the same fearless, consistent faith—living lives worthy of the gospel so that even in suffering, the world sees the power and presence of God. Like Stephen’s fearless witness once pierced Paul’s heart, our joyful endurance can awaken others to the truth and beauty of Christ.
