This Easter Citylove project focused on showing kindness to the elderly in local nursing homes. We made 5 big Easter baskets for 5 different local Retirement/Nursing Homes in the area. Included in the baskets were board games, arts and crafts, puzzles, movies, cards addressed to the residents as well as the staff, and invitations to our Easter church service. Different members of the group will be going to the homes and dropping off the baskets as well as a sweet treat (can anybody say Knead Donuts?) for the staff to bless them.
