We decided to give our murals a fresh look for Easter as a part of our Easter Citylove Initiative. Our leaders Chris and Alli Leson gathered a group and together we agreed on the vision of the mural. Our hand letterer Christine Errington came up with ideas and sketches of the lettering.
Lots of prayers went into this project. Mostly prayers for good painting weather and although it was cold, we are grateful it came together beautifully. We could not have done it without everyone in the group. It truly took a village.
We love Providence and we hope that our mural is a light in a world of darkness. We hope people are inspired. We hope it brings smiles and joy. We hope it’s something people look forward to seeing when they go out for their morning walk.
We hope its one of those “little things”, those little moments where truth hits you.
May seeing this little piece of brightness give you a calm moment in the midst of your busy day. May it remind you of love. Love conquers all.
